Stacey is an excellent tutor. In addition to being a very skilled tutor, she was also a very smart as a person. I had a session with her for my assignment which was about Martin Luther King Jr. and his two lectures. She was able to show and explain the same subject from a different point of view which gave me a complete understanding. Other than that, she was very polite, motivating and patient. My son is very selective and doesn't take to people easily. He was very comfortable with Stacy and said it was better to learn from her than attend the sylvan center with their tutors. Stacy arrived early and came fully prepared with a folder with work geared toward his grade level. She knew exactly what he needed to do to improve and she even worked with him emotionally when he got frustrated by encouraging him to talk about what frustrated him about the work. He left smiling and feeling confident. My only issue is trying to work out a regular schedule. Excellent tutor.

We started working with Stacy because my daughter needed additional support and readiness for her 4th grade ELA and Math assessments. So far the teachers and I have noticed positive improvements, not only on her math and reading comprehension, but on her confidence as well. We'll continue working with Stacy throughout the rest of the school year to strengthen my daughter's writing, math, and reading skills to prepare a successful 5th grader. Stacy clarifies subjects with real life examples, she empathize with her frustration when she struggles, helps with homework and leave homework for practice. In addition, she is consistently assess on her progress.
